About
Welcome! Thank you for joining us. We look forward to serving you and getting to know you better. I’d like to share my story so you can get to know a little bit about me, Vicki Lehnerz.
It started in 1997, when I had dinner at The Barley Pop Pub in Germantown and thought it looked like a fun place to work. I asked if they were hiring, and I ended up working there for 14 years. I fell in love with the food and hospitality industry when I realized that I could change lives by serving food and drink.
I worked my way into management and worked closely alongside Part Owner and General Manager, Jen Reinbold. When she had decided to sell her part of the business, all of us managers went out for our last “hurrah” to celebrate our times together.
We ended up in going to a place called Fat Charlies on Hwy 175 in Richfield. Across the street from Fat Charlies is a beautiful brick building with great big windows in the front. (It happened to be for sale at the time). I made mention about what a great store front it would make.
Jen commented, “You could open Skinny Vic’s across the street from Fat Charlies”. We laughed. It was then that Skinny Vic’s was born! Now six years later I wouldn’t name my own business anything BUT Skinny Vic’s!
Skinny Vic’s is about sharing stories and making memories. It’s about my story and how we got here! I am very much looking forward to share with you more about me, and to learn more about you as well! Thank you for being here! -
