CAMP FRIENDSHIP … where every day is a field trip!
 
June 9 – August 22, 2025

• The Threshold is looking for energetic individuals to work in our Summer Youth Program from June through August. 
• This is a great opportunity for those exploring careers focused on serving people with disabilities. 
• Related education or experience is desired.  Essential duties require a valid WI driver's license and a good driving record.

 The Summer Youth Community Program emphasizes building connections for youth or young adults with cognitive or physical disabilities. The program connects participants with their peers and with community members through an array of social, community based and leisure recreational activities.
 
Q:     What are the dates for Camp Friendship?
A:      Tuesday, June 10 – Thursday, August 21 (for campers)

• Tentative training dates: Some evening hours during the week of June 2 & Saturday, June 7.
• Monday, June 9, staff will report to Badger Middle School.
• Friday, August 22, will be the staff’s last workday.

Q:     What are the hours for Camp Friendship?
A:      6:00 am – 8:00 am:  Morning respite / drop off for parents.
         8:00 am – 3:00 pm:  Camp Friendship program.
         3:00 pm – 5:30 pm:  Afternoon respite / pick up for parents.
 
Q:     What is the rate of pay?
A:      $15.00 per hour

• Staff who are eligible for re-hire will receive a bonus of up to $550.00 upon completion of the program.
